Lucy van Pelt and Gracie, Ice-Skating

This drawing I did start months ago, but came back to a day or so ago. It's Lucy van Pelt from the Peanuts and Gracie from Baldo comics, each being older.
Frankly, I am quite jubilant for this artwork. However, I am somewhat ashamed of the inconsistent skin tone for Lucy. Her head and arm are of a duller tone than her legs. When I noticed this while scanning and editing my drawing, I tried to go back and correct this mistake, but I can't seem to fix that. Touche… Regardless, I do love how she turned out. I also tried something new with the reflection on the ice. It's not perfect, but it was nice to tread into some unusual territory.
My references were pictures of the famous ice-skater Peggy Fleming. Not that I drew her poses, but I combined different elements from the different images, like the reflection on the ice, the metal parts below the boots (whatever they're called), and so on.
The drawing was edited with Gimp after scanning.
