This is a drawing of Ruth the Moabitess from the book of Ruth in the Holy Bible. I drew this on Father's Day as a way of telling God how much I love and appreciate him in my life.
I was hoping her skin came out more peachy. The lighting in my dining room sucked at the time when I drew this. I have recently been taking into consideration the lighting of my environments. Her facial proportions are, admittedly, a little funny to me. I only ever had one other person tell me that, but other people never seemed to mind her face. I don't know what to really take from that. My hair tends to hang down too much, so I apologize for that. The wheats (if that's what they are) were quite new for me, and so I utilized a simple design for them. Any tips on making better wheat would be appreciated (not that anyone probably cares for wheats, but eh... it somewhat matters, I guess). I also apologize for the inconsistent shading of Ruth's skirt. The picture was edited with Gimp to make it pop out better.
