The Grave of Annie O. Gilton

This drawing is based on an actual person's grave in a cemetery I visit when I can. I took the original design of her gravestone and decorated it with Gothic tribal designs. I also tried to create a value effect with the shading to make the gravestone look old. The angel on the top-right is based on an angel knickknack that I own.
What I had fun with the most is the typography of this artwork here, though there are some imperfections with a few letters. It was a bit difficult drawing each individual letter with pencils, as well as keeping accurate size, letter & line-spacing, and so on. Because of such inconsistencies in the text, I kept the horizontal lines to help keep a visible line-spacing, and it added a bit of a cool touch, anyway, so I appreciate that. The typeface I used for the text was Baskerville Old Style (not counting the cursive, evidently).
