Princess Pancake on a Heart

This is an original character of mine for a novel that I've been working on.
I have redrawn this piece about four or five times across two years constantly improving on various elements. This drawing also goes about a style of coloring and shading that's different from my previous works, and I think it helps improve the contrast of my work. The background is meant to be disconnected from Pancake and the heart that she sits on. I wanted the background to come off as a weird kind of... outer space, if you will (for lack of a better term).
