Esther Greenwood Under the Fig Tree

This is my depiction of Esther Greenwood from The Bell Jar, by Sylvia Plath. This is based on the scene where Esther presents her metaphorical fig tree that reflects the social pressures that she faced between fulfilling her own dreams as a poet or giving that up to be a married woman and raise a family.
I made this in the spirit of International Women's Day, as I wanted to celebrate the author to one of my favorite books.
