Xiolin Anneliese, pen art

I've been using ink pens recently, ever since my capstone project for school. I drew a character of mine, Xiolin, playing her violin. Since I'm using ink pens, I've focused more on the lines for my drawing. I usually focus on color in my work, but I'm still wrestling in my head if I want to add in color later.

I feel that I may have messed up on the bottom skirt. I wanted to make it look like it twirled, but it came out rather awkward to me. I may need to practice more on skirts and refresh my knowledge. Other friends, however, think it's fine, so I don't know what to think.
